The next few weeks of my recovery I spent at my parents, at home and with other family as I couldn’t spend time by myself as I was not steady on my feet enough. I needed assistance with showering, getting changed, and just general support for someone to talk to as this was quite traumatic for me. I had to make sure my head was always straight, and make sure I covered up my nose from any dust, or spurs in the air as I couldn’t sneeze. I was a little dizzy at time so I needed someone to help me in case I fell over and hurt my nose. I also had a bit of back pain which made it quite uncomfortable to sit still and rest, which I needed to do some exercises and possible physiotherapy eventually.
