Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

I went back to Doctor Johnston, with my Mum, after I had all my tests to hopefully be given some good news. Thank god I attended this appointment with someone because the diagnosis wasn’t good. I now have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and my hormone levels are extremely higher than they should be which requires some further investigation. The doctor explained to my Mum and I, that I can be treated for PCOS later on as my high hormone levels are a higher priority at such a young age of 23. I need to be sent for further tests as a gland in the brain called the Pituitary controls all these hormones.   I had another pregnancy test as my hormones that were extremely high usually can be elevated if a woman is pregnant. Definitely not pregnant so I need to have an MRI of my brain to see what is happening with the Pituitary Gland.
