Throughout my life I’ve had a few-ups and downs with health issues. Growing up with Asthma as a child and having the common cold and flu, breaks, cuts, bruises, chickenpox etc. I had several symptoms and with a few bloodtests, allergy tests and visits to my local GP Dr Jack Hibberd who specializes in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (having suffered for several years with this condition) I was diagnosed with having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 2004.
With regular check-up with the doctor on my progress of eliminating foods and increasing my vitamin intake I had to adjust to my newly diagnosis and change my daily schedule. I was in my first year of a Diploma in Visual Arts so I had to make my lecturers and my friends aware of my change in routine and behavior. I missed some classes and everyone was very understanding.
