Those new to my journey please refer to my posts from January 2014 to now to gain more of an understanding of my most recent part of the journey.
My journey first began in 2004 and is still going. There has been a few obstacles that I have overcome and will continue to overcome with the love and support of my many friends and family.
In january of this year I had an MRI of my brain and a bloodtest for quite a number of different things my specialist needs to explore regularly.
I attended an appointment with my local doctor to get the results prior to the specialist visit on Friday just gone.
I did delay posting this update as I wanted to enjoy my birthday weekend with my wonderful family. I had a few really lovely celebrations and got extremely spoilt by the many messages via social media, calls, texts, visits and outings with some of the most important people in my life. I am so very greatful to be surrounded by some beautiful souls.
Also the most generous gifts I received made me feel very special and lucky to have been given them by beautiful people.
After a wonderful weekend I can now let you all know whats next with my journey. I can gladly reveal that the MRI showed that in my brain there has been no spread, change or growth of the Pituitary Tumour.
However the Chemotherapy medication I have been taking to reduce the chances of growth has decided to reduce its effects due to stress and some unknown reasons. The specialists solution for this is to recommended I try to gradually increase the dosage to compensate for the effects of any stress and continue to reduce the chances of growth.
This increase can come with more unwanted side effects which I currently have, but is a better alternative than to let it possibly increase.
On a positive note, the treatment has helped improve other issues the increase caused so its a half good and a half not so good result.
The plan for the next 6 months of my journey is to research some alternatives to reducing stress and focus my energy on healing with art therapy. Also concentrate on gradually increase the dosage, and getting use to the many side effects that may arise, until my next lot of tests and specialist visit for some more positive news.
Sending harmony, positive energy and wishing you all good health for 2016.
Any feedback and comments can be left in my guestbook or via social media. Thanks for following my journey.
