Its been a few months since my last update in May so here’s what has been happening on my journey.
Just to recap I have been taking Chemotherapy medication from January 2nd of this year which has come with various side-effects and feeling both good and not so good days.
The varying common side effects consist of: tired, dizzy, headaches, nausea, light headed, spaced out, sensitive to the heat and cold weather, and many more.
Over these last nearly 8 months I have been unable to attend my work commitments and used this time to work on healing myself. I take the prescribed treatment, attend a Salt Therapy Session once a week and have been working on a few art pieces as part of my Art Therapy.
My artwork can be seen via social media pages and also on my Toll-Art website.
I’m due to see the specialist for a check-up on my treatment in September after a routine blood test. I am feeling very hopeful and quite positive to be getting great results.
I have a really great support network who have been absolutely amazing. I’m so very grateful of these most important and beautiful people apart of my life who keep me positive daily.
One of my all time favourite quotes: “As we travel through life there may be obstacles along the way, but with support and love from family and friends your journey is never alone.”
