Its been a busy 6 months. I’ve had some ups and downs on my journey. Where to begin. I’m working closer to home which is great. Less time spent traveling to and from work and more time to relax before work. I’m loving my new workplace and have made some great friends. I also get to spend extra time with my 4 legged, furry, fluffy child and my best friend Benji. (My 6 year old cat). A great stress reliever and an excellent listener.
My studies and coming along nicely. I plan to be qualified end of the year. Studies have had a few delays due to other priorities. Its a great feeling when you receive excellent feedback and encouragement from the teachers, and realizing the skills I’m learning I naturally put them into practice in my daily interactions.
There was another death in my family, with the passing of my last living grandparent. Another tough family time but with no arguing the funeral went smoothly and the family came together to support each other on the day. Cherish your family while they are alive. Holding grudges are those little things that can be the obstacle that create distant forever. The past can’t be changed. Live in the now and create your journey towards a bright future. Having family who love you for who you are and support you in health and achievements are those positive souls we all need in our life. Removing negativity people from our lives and stay close to positive people, can influence positive energy into your own life.
On a positive note I reduced and eliminated my sugar intake and have been eating healthy with my regular daily exercise and feeling great within myself. I’m getting my anxiety under control, although some situations it tends to escalate but I’m learning to manage it better. Apart from having the flu for several weeks, which is almost gone, I have been reasonably healthy and feeling more positive. Its come to my regular 6 month checkup with the endocrinologist to see how everything is going. Having my regular blood test, will the results show up excellent, as I have been feeling great. With the anxious wait finally over, I attended my 6 month checkup all positive and wanting my results to be great. To my surprise my (Cortisol / Stress hormone level has risen to being extremely high at 586 nmol/L) and (Prolactin has risen again to a high of ~ 1474 mIU/L). With my endocrinologist not to pleased with the increase has recommended taking hormones possible from my next visit and have another MRI to see if there is any changes to the pituitary. Also another recommendation to improve my hormones is by gaining about 10kg. (I’m sorry but i’m not going to gain weight and get fat in the hope that my hormones will improve. I’m happy the weight I am and I feel healthy within myself). I’m going to try to regulate the hormones another way by doing some research and seek advice from a Naturopath or health professional.
